Corporate social responsibility
There is a wide range of definitions for corporate social responsibility, so it is becoming increasingly difficult to define what is actually meant by this term.
For Ruhrgetriebe, it means that we do not live in our microcosm. Everything we do, every decision we make, affects those around us: our employees, the region and the world. In addition, all our decisions and products also have an impact on the environment.
That is why social responsibility has been firmly anchored in our corporate values since 1953.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Ruhrgetriebe KG is committed to its social responsibility and has signed the ZVEI Code of Conduct on Social Responsibility.
We use the “ZVEI Code of Conduct” on social responsibility” (CoC) as the basis for this. This guideline from the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI) sets out what corporate responsibility means. (ZVEI) sets out what corporate responsibility means: for working conditions, social and environmental compatibility, as well as transparency, trusting cooperation and dialog.
We do all this out of deep commitment, because we know that responsible action pays off – for a world worth living in, for more trust and for ever better products.
We at Ruhrgetriebe are convinced that our drive systems contribute to the efficiency of electric machines.
Our vision goes beyond drive engineering. We want our continuous developments to have a positive impact on the environment – from the way we source materials to the way we work with our customers to bring their machines to life.
Our long-term goal is to set up the family business in a solid position for the constant changes in order to continue to successfully consolidate the name “Ruhrgetriebe” in the world of drive technology and therefore to be a renowned manufacturer for intelligent drive engineering solutions.
