Drive systems
SMART-series
A well-coordinated team: gearmotors with mounted drive controller and optional pulse generator. Matched to the speed and torque requirements of our customers. Benefit from the efficient development of the engineered drive components. We have developed two different drive systems systems for you.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
SN-WORM GEARBOXES
THREE-PHASE MOTORS
DRIVE CONTROL
Optional: Pulse generator
SN-WORM GEARBOXES
- Selection from the full range of gear types according to the torque requirements
- Adaptation to the setting range by means of a large number of gear ratios
- Consideration of the cultivation conditions and mounting position
THREE-PHASE MOTORS
- Power output ranges between 0.09 kW and 1.1kW
- Flange or foot mounting
- PTC thermistor or winding protection contact
- Energy efficiency classes up to IE3
DRIVE CONTROL
- Economy-Line. For simple applications (left)
- Smart-Line. For advanced applications (right)
- Single phase connection
- Optional equipment; pulse generator

Advantages
Wherever variable speeds, different torques or positional accuracy are required, the drive systems of the Smart Series are used. Our complete systems consisting of electric motor (asynchronous or synchronous motor), gearbox (worm or planetary gear) and intelligent drive controller can be freely adapted to the requirements of the customer and their respective application. Whether simple speed control via a potentiometer or seamless integration into production systems with different fieldbuses – the Smart Series provides you with the right solution for every situation. But even without external controls, many process steps and parameters can already be implemented by the integrated soft PLC with the drive system. Depending on the position accuracy and application, it is possible to either use the control technology of the drive controller, which enables a rotary position range of 1:200, or to attach a pulse encoder to the motor.
With over 10 different gear unit types and more than 70 different variants, innovative solutions can be found within the torque ranges between 5 and 165 Nm.
Options
For those who prefer manual control, there is a wide range of membrane keyboards, handheld control units or a touch panel as additional accessories. Parameterization or commissioning can optionally be performed via PC software or a Bluetooth interface.
ADVANTAGES OF THE SMART-LINE
IoT connection possible
- Available with +12 different worm gears as well as the RPS and RPL planetary gears.
