Deciding on a particular profession is not an easy task.
Getting to grips with your own interests, strengths and weaknesses and the various professional fields at an early stage helps you to find out which career is right for you.
A practice-oriented exploratory trip to a company can be very helpful – because only those who try things out can know where they should go.
From the school desk to 3D printing design
A day full of formative impressions at RUHRGETRIEBE
Students from the Luisenschule in Mülheim an der Ruhr also had the opportunity to explore one professional field each on 24.06.2024 in order to gain their first insights into the world of work and develop realistic ideas of various professional activities.
On 24.06.2024, 15-year-old high school student Kareem left school and took on the role of a design engineer with us.
He is already very interested in technical things such as 3D printing, so we gave him the opportunity to try out practical things in his favorite area and put his already good design skills into practice.
Kareem spent the whole day tinkering and managed to design and print the camera mount for our robot arm in our automation process and then successfully mount it on the robot arm. 🦾🤖
